Documents
- GearOS Consumer App Guide - This folder contains consumer-facing documentation for the pages/screens a consumer can use in the MaintenanceFreak app.
- Login - The Login page is where you sign in to your MaintenanceFreak account.
- Register (Create Account) - The Register page creates a new MaintenanceFreak account.
- Garages - The Garages page is your home base for organizing vehicles and gear into shared spaces. A garage can represent a real location (like “Home Garage”), a household, or any grouping you want. Garages also control who can see and edit items inside them.
- Garage Details - The Garage Details page is the control center for one garage. It shows what’s assigned to the garage (vehicles + gear), what needs attention (tasks, transfers, expiring documents), and who has access.
- Vehicles & Gear - The Vehicles & Gear page is where you browse everything assigned to your garages. It’s optimized for quick scanning, quick updates (odometer/fluids/tires/expenses), and jumping into details.
- Add Asset (Add Vehicle / Add Gear) - The Add Asset page is where you create a new vehicle or gear item in your account. Once created, you can assign it to a garage, add documents, log readings/expenses, and create maintenance tasks.
- Asset Details - The Asset Details page is the complete record for one vehicle or gear item. It’s where you review key info, manage its garage assignment, attach documents, create tasks, and log quick updates.
- Tasks (Maintenance Board) - The Tasks page is where you plan and track maintenance work across your garages. It supports multiple views (list / kanban / agenda), powerful filters, and fast task creation.
- Task Details - The Task Details page is where you view and manage one maintenance task: what to do, when it’s due, who it’s assigned to, what parts/docs are involved, and (when enabled) the full activity and verification trail.
- Documents - The Documents page is your file cabinet. It helps you store and organize manuals, receipts, photos, registrations, and other files—then link them to garages, vehicles/gear, and tasks.
- Monitoring - The Monitoring page is your dashboard for trends, signals, and operational insights across your garages. It combines charts and lists so you can spot issues early and understand how assets are being used.
- Settings - The Settings page is where you manage device connections (Bluetooth/Wi‑Fi provisioning when enabled), your account, subscription details, and support info.
- Account Settings - The Account Settings page is where you manage your personal profile details and account security (including multi-factor authentication).
- Subscription Settings - The Subscription Settings page shows the plan you’re on, what’s included, and usage/organization details. If in-app upgrades are enabled, this is also where you can upgrade and restore purchases.
- Password Reset - The Password Reset page helps you request a secure password reset email.
- MFA Setup (Register TOTP) - This page enrolls your account in multi-factor authentication (MFA) using TOTP codes from an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc).
- MFA Verify (Finish Sign-in) - If your account has MFA enabled, you’ll see this page after entering your password.
- Quick Updates (Readings + Expenses) - Quick Updates are fast entry forms that let you log real-world events without digging through long detail screens.
- Assignments Picker (Assign Vehicles/Gear to a Garage) - The Assignments Picker is a selection screen (shown as a bottom sheet) that helps you assign existing vehicles and gear to a specific garage.
- Accept Transfer (Scan Transfer QR Code) - Accept Transfer is how you import an asset that someone else transferred to you. The sender provides a transfer QR code (or token) and you scan it with your camera.
- Template Picker - The Template Picker helps you choose a template for a maintenance task or inspection. Templates provide structured steps and can speed up recurring workflows.
- Procedure Steps (Template Procedure) - The Procedure Steps page is a read-only view of a template’s step-by-step instructions. It’s useful when you want to follow a consistent process during maintenance.
- Inspection Run - The Inspection Run page is a step-by-step checklist runner used for inspection-type tasks. It’s designed to be used while you’re physically inspecting equipment, capturing evidence, and recording results.
- Assistant Guide (Full Screen) - The Assistant Guide is a full-screen, step-by-step guide experience. It can be generated by the MaintenanceFreak Assistant and is intended to help you complete maintenance tasks with a clear checklist-style flow.
- Inventory (Parts Inventory) - The Inventory page shows parts on hand and helps you update counts, receive stock, and attribute usage to work.
- Shop - The Shop page lets you browse MaintenanceFreak products and view item details.
- Product Details - The Product Details page shows full information for a shop item: pricing, availability, lead time, and tags.
- Bluetooth Settings (Device Pairing) - The Bluetooth Settings page helps you scan for and pair with MaintenanceFreak hardware (for example, an MF‑OBD2 device). Pairing creates a secure session so the app can communicate with the device.
- Wi‑Fi Provisioning (Device Network Setup) - The Wi‑Fi Provisioning page helps you give a paired MaintenanceFreak device the credentials it needs to join your home/office Wi‑Fi network.
