#Monitoring

The Monitoring page is your dashboard for trends, signals, and operational insights across your garages. It combines charts and lists so you can spot issues early and understand how assets are being used.

Monitoring tabs and charts are feature-controlled. Your app may show a subset of what’s described here.

#How to get here

• Tap Monitoring (insights icon) in the bottom navigation (if enabled).

#Page layout

#Tabs (top row)

Monitoring is organized into tabs (for example: Signals, Trends, Operations, Activity, Costs).
Swipe left/right or tap a tab label to switch.

#Filters (filter icon next to tabs)

Tap Filters (filter icon on the right side of the tab row) to open global filters. These filters apply across tabs.

Common global filters include:

• Time range (last 7/30/90 days, custom range, etc)
• Garages (multi-select)
• Assets (multi-select)
• Task statuses (affects some lists)
• Users (affects Activity lists)

#What filters actually affect (important)

Some filters apply everywhere (time/garage/asset). Others are more specific:

• Task status filters: commonly affect “attention/upcoming” style lists
• User filters: commonly affect the Activity tab/list

If you don’t see an expected change, try clearing filters and reapplying just one filter at a time.

#Pull-to-refresh

Pull down on any tab to refresh monitoring data and filter options.

#Alerts / health card (optional)

When enabled, Monitoring can show an alerts/health card at the top.

• You may also see a bell icon in the app header to show/hide alerts quickly.

#How to use Monitoring (common workflows)

#1) Set a time window first

1. Tap Filters
2. Choose a time window (start with last 30 days if you’re unsure)
3. Apply filters

#2) Narrow scope to one garage or asset

If you want answers for one garage/vehicle:

1. Tap Filters
2. Select the garage and/or asset
3. Apply

Charts and lists will update to match your selections.

#3) Explore each tab

What you can do depends on which tabs are enabled, but common patterns include:

• Signals: high-level health cues and counts (what needs attention)
• Trends: time-based charts (usage, fluids, tire pressure, etc)
• Operations: task funnel/aging, upcoming work, queues
• Activity: historical events and updates
• Costs: cost summaries and cost trend charts

#Signals (typical content)

• System/garage health summary (when enabled)
• Telemetry summary cards (tires/fluids/usage snapshots)
• “Signal tiles” showing counts (readings, issues, etc)

#Trends (typical content)

• Usage trend charts
• Fluid level/observation charts
• Tire pressure charts (often requires selecting a specific asset)
• Fuel efficiency/MPG charts (when available)

You may see an “asset scope” selector near the top of Trends to switch between:

• All assets, or
• One specific asset

#Operations (typical content)

• Task status breakdowns (what’s open vs due vs overdue)
• Aging charts (how long tasks have been open)
• Upcoming task queues

#Activity (typical content)

• A feed of recent changes/events
• Filters to focus on certain users or task statuses (when enabled)

#Costs (typical content)

• Cost summary buckets
• Cost trend charts over time

Some cost charts may load only when you open the Costs tab.

#4) Interact with charts

Many charts support:

• Tapping points/bars to see details
• Toggling series visibility when multiple series are shown
• Editing or deleting a reading (only when you have permission)

If an edit option is unavailable, you may have view-only access.

#Chart “breakdowns” (garage/asset drilldowns)

Some charts offer a local breakdown selector (for example, “break down by garage” or “break down by asset”).

• If you already selected a specific garage/asset in global filters, the chart may ignore local breakdowns (because the scope is already fixed).

#Tips

• If charts look empty, remove filters and confirm your time window isn’t too narrow.
• Dates/times display in your local timezone.
