#Account Settings

The Account Settings page is where you manage your personal profile details and account security (including multi-factor authentication).

#How to get here

  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap Account Settings

You may also be able to open it from the app header/profile area.

#What you see on this page

#Profile summary

Shows your core account identity (such as name/email/username) and current subscription context.

#Profile photo (avatar)

In the app header, your profile avatar can usually be tapped to:

  • Add/replace a profile photo (camera/gallery/files)
  • Remove an existing profile photo

If you don’t see avatar actions, your build may have them disabled.

#Profile details form

Depending on configuration, you may be able to edit:

  • Email
  • Username
  • Phone
  • Public display name

You may also see privacy toggles like:

  • Email public / Phone public / Details public

If you edit fields, the page may show that changes are pending and require saving.

#Save profile changes

  1. Make your edits
  2. Tap the page’s Save/Update action (when shown)

If you try to go back with unsaved changes, the app may prompt you.

#Multi-factor authentication (MFA)

This section helps you add or remove MFA (TOTP codes from an authenticator app).

Common actions:

  • Set up MFA: starts enrollment and shows a QR code to scan.
  • Remove MFA: removes the current MFA method (confirmation required).

See:

#Subscription switching (if you belong to multiple subscriptions)

If your account has access to multiple subscriptions, you may see a subscription switcher.

Notes:

  • Some subscriptions may require MFA to switch.
  • Switching changes which garages/assets you can access.

If switching is blocked, confirm MFA is enabled and verified.

#Log out

Use Log out to sign out of MaintenanceFreak on this device.

#Tips

  • If you can’t edit a field, you may have view-only access to that setting in your current subscription.
  • If you enable MFA, keep your authenticator device safe—without it you may be locked out.
