Accept Transfer is how you import an asset that someone else transferred to you. The sender provides a transfer QR code (or token) and you scan it with your camera.

Depending on your app configuration, it may also appear in other assignment or management menus.

#How to accept a transfer

  1. Open Accept Transfer
  2. If prompted, allow camera permission
  3. Point your camera at the QR code
  4. Wait for the scan to complete (it happens automatically)

If the QR code is not valid, the scanner will show an error message and you can try again.

#After you accept

When successful, you’ll see a confirmation message that the asset was added to your account/subscription.

Important next step for consumers:

  • Newly accepted items may appear as unassigned.
  • Assign the item to a garage before creating maintenance tasks for it.

  • Camera permission denied
    • Enable camera access in your device settings and try again.
  • Scan says it’s not a transfer token
    • Ask the sender to re-share the correct transfer QR code/token.
